JID aims to start the year off right with "30 (Freestyle)."

Produced by Christo, Conductor and Tane Runo, "30 (Freestyle)" finds JID delivering bars from outside his window. The Atlanta native revealed the freestyle was done while on tour in Poland. JID also hinted at more music coming down the pipeline.

ima just drop music all year and see what happens

SinceThe80s co-founder Barry "Hefner" Johnson appears to echo the same sentiment, suggesting that once "30 (Freestyle)" reaches a million views, we will get another one.

Even though JID did not release a project in 2023, he appears to be hard at work on a new album, judging from a post last week where he discussed the ebbs and flows that come with the creative process when putting together an album.

working on a album is such a “no days off” ass process. u really gotta chase that feeling when u get it, and it comes outta no where
