After some speculation, it appears that a deluxe edition of Kendrick Lamar's Damn is going to be released soon. Redditor TKeys_15 posted a photo of Kendrick's fourth studio album with a different cover. The most dramatic difference between this new version and the original is that the tracklist appears to be in reverse order, starting with "Duckworth." The special edition of Damn is also listed over on Microsoft's online music marketplace

Back in August, K. Dot admitted to MTV News that the album was designed to be listened front-to-back, as well as back-to-front. "I think like a week after the album came out, [fans] realized you can play the album backwards," he said. "It plays as a full story and even a better rhythm. It’s one of my favorite rhythms and tempos within the album. It’s something that we definitely premeditate while we’re in the studio."

Ultimately, it depends on how the listener wants to receive the album. "I don’t think the story necessarily changes, I think the feel changes," he said. "The initial vibe listening from the top all the way to the bottom is...this aggression and this attitude. You know, 'DNA,' and exposing who I really am. You listen from the back end, and it’s almost the duality and the contrast of the intricate Kendrick Lamar. Both of these pieces are who I am."

After a strong showing on the Billboard charts, Kendrick may be looking to squeeze as much as he can out of this project by tweaking the album a bit and releasing it back to the masses. No concrete word on a release date yet.
