Brooklyn duo Lizzy Plapinger and Max Hershenow better known as MS MR have been unleashing their new record and new sound as they prepare to release their follow up to their 2013 debut Secondhand Rapture with "Painted" creating the first picture of a darker, 70's infused sound. With their second album coming next month, the duo also announced their North American/European fall headline tour which kicks off September 24 and features supporting acts Circa Waves, Jack Garratt, VÉRITÉ, Crater, Tigertown and more. Throughout the tour, MS MR will be donating a portion of every ticket sold to an inspiring organization, Third Wave Fund, a national fund that supports and strengthens youth-led gender justice activism.
Today, the picture of that new album becomes even clearer with our exclusive premiere of their forthcoming album's title track "How Does It Feel." As fluctuating strings urgently set the scene, Lizzy swoops in with an assertive vocal hold as her biting grit meets its anthem-cry chorus, compelling you to confront your own feelings before blustering horns and strings weave the album's flagship brand of sparring pop.
