Forward-Thinking R&B Pair Weslee Share Sultry EP Cut "Somebody"

Right at the top of the year we made our predictions as to which R&B up-and-comers would take the world — our at least the British Isles — by storm. One of the artists we tipped was artistic duo Weslee, based almost solely off the still excellent "Gassed". Well, good readers, it turns out we were absolutely bang on the money. Today, the pair dropped their new EP, 9F, and its providing all sorts of emotions for us ahead of the weekend. Our particular favourite has to be "Somebody", a velvety, feather-light balance of the pair's breathy vocals and futuristic electronics. Simultaneously soothing and uplifting, whether you're starting or finishing a relationship, this is somehow the perfect soundtrack for both.
