After a relatively quiet couple of years, Holland-born, London-raised singer Jorday is back to turn the page on a new chapter. He recently became a father, which understandably was his focus this past couple of years, but he’s now back with a fresh batch of music, kicking off with new single “Dutchie”.

The new single builds on the fusion of R&B and dancehall he’s made his signature, but he feels more fired up and more energetic than ever. Alongside the new track, which was produced by Kyu and Logan, he’s also dropped off a new video that illustrates the distractions and frustrations threatening to derail the big plans he’s trying to put into action.

That’s not empty talk, either; his run of singles from 2018 to 2020 built up a lot of momentum for the rising R&B talent. Even with the pause to focus on fatherhood, there’s no reason why he shouldn’t be able to use that to make big things happen this year.
