Premiere: Jamie Jones Returns With Title Track From New ‘Bionic Boy’ EP

The new track dials into the futuristic, robotic end of his palette, but thanks to a few well-aimed sample choices, there’s still plenty of warmth at its heart.

Nearly nine months on from the Handy Work EP back in September, Hot Creations boss and Paradise founder Jamie Jones is back with a new three-track release for the label titled Bionic Boy.

The new track dials into the futuristic, robotic funk end of his palette, but thanks to a few well-aimed sample choices, there’s still plenty of warmth at the heart of this one. Elsewhere on the EP, there’s a more vocal-led cut called “Moment Of Clarity” before he wraps things up with “Here Comes The Drums”, a Chicago-inspired slammer built around melodic keys and tribal percussion.

This might be his first Hot Creations release of the year, but that’s only because he’s been so busy with everything else. There’s a 10 year anniversary tour planned with dates in Miami, London, New York, and Amsterdam, and he’s just launched the Paradise events at Amnesia in Ibiza with appearances from Joseph Capriati, Nicole Moudaber, Loco Dice and more in the calendar.

With summer well and truly upon us, get this one fired up nice and loud ahead of the EP’s full release tomorrow, June 10.
