After a five-year break, The Shins are making their return with Port Of Morrow on March 20. James Mercer and his crew have always gotten by on the strength of their songwriting and melodies instead of the flash that gets some groups noticed. It's fitting that the first single from their new album is called "Simple Song," and that it's a return to the familiar sound that they've been perfecting for so long. Here's the quirky video for the track, which places Mercer in the role of a dead father with some last words for his family.
