Wale and Jerry Seinfeld go way back, and now one of rapper’s most memorable mixtapes, More About Nothing, is about to hit streaming, and it’s all thanks to the comedic legend.

Wale shared a video on Twitter revealing that the project, which samples several episodes of Seinfeld and was heavily inspired by the iconic sitcom, will be hitting streaming, and it’s because Jerry helped him clear most of it.

Thank Jerry Seinfeld . That guy made all the calls to clear so much stuff ..#moreaboutnothing is otw .

“Thank Jerry Seinfeld . That guy made all the calls to clear so much stuff ..#moreaboutnothing is otw,” he tweeted on Wednesday.

Around the same time More About Nothing was being released, Wale also shared footage of himself with Seinfeld in the studio as the project was coming together.

Wale and Seinfeld have known each other for a minute. The pair were featured together for a Complex Cover story that ran in 2014, and it included an oral history of Wale and Jerry Seinfeld’s relationship.

Wale did not give a definitive date on when More About Nothing might be hitting DSPs, but the project will be celebrating its 12 year anniversary in August, so it might arrive sometime this summer or in the coming weeks.
