In celebration of hip-hop’s 50th birthday, Swizz Beatz has released the second installment of his Hip Hop 50 Vol. 2 EP through Mass Appeal, which includes the hard-hitting track “This Sh*t Right Here” featuring Lil Wayne. When the legendary producer first teased the track, many thought it would also feature Jay-Z because of the not-so-subtle sampling of the God MC’s voice on the song. Despite Hov not delivering a verse, the second-greatest rapper with the last name Carter still holds it down to complete another classic Swizz Beatz song. —Jordan Rose

On the new track, though, Latto delivers an original verse touching on topics like her sexuality, million-dollar deals, and more. “Bitches weak in the knees, in them tweets, on them beats/ Diamonds twitchin’ like they cap, hold my wrist up, make ‘em freeze,” Latto spits. The Weeknd and Future teamed for a new late-night record. The song begins similarly to an old Spike Lee joint with jazzy horns playing. Then, over hazy instrumentals (produced by Mike Dean and Metro Boomin), the Weeknd kicks off with slow-burning and hypnotizing vocals. As the beat builds, Future comes in with a punchy verse, rapping, “I sent you an envelope, came with a poem/You possess venom, that came with a charm/You get the good out me when I perform.” “Double Fantasy” was released to promote HBO’s upcoming series The Idol starring the Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp. —Jordan Rose

The Atlanta rapper previewed this track during her set at Coachella Weekend 1 last week, spitting with authority, “Say she got a problem, imaginary smoke/Bitch, you said it’s up, then put on the floor.” While most of the song is assumed to be shots directed at Nicki Minaj, Coi Leray also took offense to the bar, “Smokin’ on that gas, blunt big as Coi Leray,” with the Jersey rapper tired of people commenting on her body. Latto has yet to respond, but knowing her, she’ll use any criticisms to fuel her tracks. —Jordan Rose
