Premiere: Billy Davis Goes Straight for the KO in “Shoulda Known” Video

Mike Tyson bites ears, Billy Davis pleases them. Check out his fighting skills in the “Shoulda Known” video

Billy Davis’ "Shoulda Known" is a knockout punch of an anthem, and this new video provides the perfect visuals. In the clip, Billy is sucked into a video game, and has to face a series of opponents inside the boxing ring, busting moves and delivering beat downs to the beat of his own single (big flex).

The song itself is an undisputed bout of neo-soul, hip-hop and R&B, with soulful croons from VanJess, a stern rap verse from Matt McGhee and produced by FossaBeats, Louie Lastic and Billy himself. The instrumental is mostly made up of sleek synths and a driving 808, with Billy providing a dazzling keys solo towards the latter end of the track, reminiscent of something you may find on a Dam Funk album.
