Travis Scott's Bass At Montreal Concert Was So Heavy It Damaged A Stanley Cup

The damaged Cup was apparently a first for the home of the Montreal Canadiens.

Travis Scott's Circus Maximus tour is making its way across North America, and at his stop in Montreal last week, the bass was so loud it caused a Stanley Cup to fall from its trophy case and become damaged.

The missing Cup was spotted by CTV News reporter Kelly Greig. Three Cups fell in all, with one needing repairs.

Eagle-eyed viewers tonight might notice a missing Stanley Cup in the trophy case at the Bell Centre. Apparently the Travis Scott concert on Tuesday has such strong bass three of them fell and one was damaged. Security told me that’s a first. pic.twitter.com/ZyqTrdTlXD

"Eagle-eyed viewers tonight might notice a missing Stanley Cup in the trophy case at the Bell Centre," Grieg said in her tweet. "Apparently the Travis Scott concert on Tuesday has such strong bass three of them fell and one was damaged. Security told me that’s a first."

The Montreal Canadiens are the NHL's most decorated team in terms of championships won with 24. But they haven't won since 1993 and they're in the midst of a rebuild, so it's not looking like they'll break the slump anytime soon.

Should a miracle occur and the Habs get back to their winning ways, Montreal fans will have Scott and his venue-shaking bass to thank.

Scott's been busy on his Circus Maximus tour, hinting that he's been recording songs at every tour stop since hitting the road in October.

Intrepid fans made the deduction based on Scott's Instagram stories, leading Scott to respond "R u in my brain or what ????" on X.
