The Black Academy's 2023 Legacy Awards were held last night at History in Toronto.
At the awards ceremony, they closed the night by paying tribute to the 25th anniversary of the release of iconic Canadian rap anthem "Northern Touch." Only this time, original artists Kardinal Offishall, Red1 of Rascalz, Choclair, and Thrust introduced a new generation of rappers to faithfully perform the track: Taaylee G, Tamir, YSN Fab, and Zach Zoya.
