Anderson .Paak has the music industry’s attention after impressive showings on Dr. Dre’s Compton and his own album Malibu. After years grinding independently, the hard work has paid off. Paak shared the news on Twitter tonight that Dre has officially signed him to Aftermath Entertainment.

The singer-songwriter has a solid catalogue for anyone looking to break out of their usual listening regime. For starters, check out his 2014 album Venice, as well as his recent EP with Knoxwledge called Link Up & Suede.
Paak joins recent Aftermath signees Justus and Jon Connor, who both made scene-stealing appearances on Compton.
