It was a real busy week for entertainment lawyers. Chris Brown was kicked out of rehab for allegedly behaving inappropriately and refusing to take a drug test. This latest incident may result in the pop star serving up to four years in prison. While Brown was getting kicked out of rehab, Chief Keef was released from his stint. All good, right? Wrong. Reports surfaced that the Chicago rapper was arrested and caught with the same substance he had just been treated for.
In other past-due legal issues, Kanye West was sentenced for a 2013 incident with a paparazzi in Los Angeles and the NFL is suing M.I.A. for $16 million dollars for throwing her middle finger up during her Super Bowl performance. Also this week, Dame Dash called out journalists for only focusing on negative stories about hip-hop artists and flipped the script on them.

Chief Keef Arrested
Reports that Chief Keef was arrested earlier this month surfaced despite just being released from rehab.

"TMZ reports that Chief Keef was arrested earlier this month for DUI, driving with a suspended license, and having no proof of insurance. On March 5, the rapper was pulled over in "early in the AM" in Highland Park, IL for "having expired tags on his 2010 Jeep Cherokee." According to TMZ's sources, Keef openly admitted he had smoked marijuana before driving-and that the car also reeked from the smell. "—Claire Lobenfeld
Dame Dash Argues with NY Daily News
Dame Dash called out journalists for only focusing on negative headlines. None of them had the answers.

"Last week, Dame Dash got into a heated one-sided argument outside of a courthouse with a few reporters from the New York Daily News. The reason Dash appeared at court was to fight a $1 million lawsuit that was filed by his son's mother, Linda Williams, who alleges he falsely had her arrested in 2009 during a custody battle.
As Dash was leaving the courthouse, he confronted the reporters and questioned their motives regarding why they only cover his career whenever something negative is afoot. The reporters stood there and recorded Dame's rant, but never actually responded to his questions."—Edwin Ortiz
NFL Sues M.I.A.
The NFL is trying to make M.I.A. pay over $16 million for flipping the bird on T.V. two years ago during the Super Bowl.

"The NFL is out for M.I.A.'s wallet in a big way. Following legal proceedings this past September in which they demanded the 38-year-old artist pay $1.5 million in arbitration for sticking up her middle finger during the 2012 Super Bowl halftime show, the NFL has now made an additional claim for M.I.A. to pony up $15.1 million in 'restitution.' This exorbitant figure is based off of what advertisers would have paid for ads during the two-minute time period that M.I.A. performed, as well as the estimated value of exposure she got from appearing in Madonna's performance.
All total, the NFL is seeking $16.6 million from M.I.A. The singer and her legal team have responded by filing papers that discredit the NFL's position regarding the suit, stating their claim for restitution lacks any basis in law, fact, or logic.'"—Edwin Ortiz
Kanye West Sentenced for 2013 Paparazzi Attack
Kanye West was sentenced for attacking a paparazzi in 2013, the first of various cases he's got pending right now.

"Kanye West has been sentenced to two years probation for attacking a Daniel Ramos, a paparazzo, back in July 2013 at Los Angeles International Airport. In November, West pleaded no contest to the battery charge via his attorney Blair Berk. Today Berk, who attended court for West, said (via CBS News), he 'was only trying to prevent [the] photographer from taking his picture.
'West has been 'ordered to perform 250 hours of community service and undergo 30 days of anger management counseling. He was also sentenced to one day in jail, but is expected to be booked and immediately released.'"—Claire Lobenfeld
Chris Brown Sent to Jail
Chris Brown's downward spiral continues after being kicked out of rehab and refusing to take a drug test, which may result in prison time.

"Chris Brown will remain in jail at least until April 23. Brown was arrested Friday after being kicked out of the rehab facility he was staying in for multiple violations of the facility's rules. He allegedly refused to take a drug test, made disturbing comments about his use of weapons, and disobeyed an order placed on him in the facility to remain at least two feet away from all women.
Brown wore a jail jumpsuit during today's hearing, and was denied the option of wearing a suit. He will be facing a hearing on April 23 to determine whether or not he violated his probation. If found guilty, he could be going to prison for four years. On April 17, Brown will go to trial in Washington D.C. on criminal assault charges."—Dharmic X
Lollapalooza Rumors
Although tickets for Lollapalooza go on sale soon, the headliners for the show have still not been officially announced. Rumor is, Eminem, Kings of Leon, and Skrillex will headline but mum's the word for now.

"With lineup announcements from other marquee festivals like Coachella and Bonnaroo, anticipation has been building for this summer's festival season. However, news has so far been scarce about Chicago's Lollapalooza, despite the fact that tickets go on sale next Tuesday.
