The house that Lil Wayne built has quickly turned into a fractured state after Tyga voiced his displeasure with a few members of Young Money. The 24-year-old from Compton singled out Drake as one of them, calling the Toronto rapper "fake" and claiming his collaborations with Drake were forced on him because they were signed to the same label. His comments didn't sit well with Drake's OVO camp, who responded by making fun of Tyga and his past attempt to star on a failed MTV rap game show.

Logic released his much-anticipated debut album Under Pressure.

Logic's long-awaited, debut album, Under Pressure, is finally here. This album, which is Logic's first under Def Jam Records, is a major milestone for the young MC who originally hails from Maryland, as he handled the entire standard version of the project with no features, and the majority of the production with his long-time producer, 6ix. The deluxe version of the album includes feature appearances from Big Sean and Childish Gambino. —Zach Frydenlund
Chief Keef's time with Interscope edged closer to an end after a report claimed he split with his label.

Chief Keef has reportedly been dropped from his deal with Interscope Records, according to AllHipHop. In the report, which uses information from unnamed sources within the label, it is revealed that Sosa was released from his contract due to tensions surrounding the handling of Keef's upcoming album and the overall direction of his career. The report states that Keef's camp tried to get moving on the album and get it out, but the label wasn't interested, which lead to arguments with officials at Interscope.
Sosa originally signed with Interscope in 2012 and went on to release his only album on the label, Finally Rich, which has sold around 200,000 units since its release. It's worth noting that Keef's upcoming project, Back From the Dead 2, which he put up for pre-order on iTunes, does not list Interscope as the label, but rather Glo Gang/GBE.
Chief Keef stated on Twitter that he was dropped from Interscope. However, Miss Info has reported that Chief Keef has not been dropped from Interscope, implying that his attempt to sell Back From The Dead 2 on iTunes may cause his label to pull the plug on their relationship. —Zach Frydenlund

Mac Miller became $10 million richer after signing with Warner Bros.

Earlier this year, Mac Miller announced he was leaving Rostrum Records and going independent with his own label, REMember Music. Now, Fader reports Mac is signing a new deal with Warner Bros. Records, which will cover both him and his label with artists he signs. The deal, which is reportedly worth an astonishing $10 million, will give Mac the freedom to sign and develop artists to his label while still working on his own solo music as both a rapper and producer.
"Warner is the most independent thinking company I met with," Miller told Fader in an email. "It is a partnership and now I can focus on building my label Remember through music and let them handle everything I don't like doing. Nothing will change in how I do things." He added: "They have Prince."
In addition to the major news, Mac has released a new song, “Just Some Raps, Nothing to See Here, Move Along,” which is produced by his frequent-collaborator, SAP. Despite not dropping an album this year, Mac stayed pretty busy, releasing his highly-acclaimed mixtape, Faces, as well as working with a number of artists both as a rapper and producer. —Zach Frydenlund
Chance The Rapper revealed plans to release an album with The Social Experiment.

The wait for a new project from Chance The Rapper appears to be almost over. In an interview published by Billboard, Chance revealed that his new album Surf, which he worked on with his band The Social Experiment, should be out by the end of the year.
Better yet, Chance also says that the project will be free for fans. Chance also talked about some artists he has been working with lately, revealing that he has been in the studio with Migos, J. Cole, and Frank Ocean.
On Surf: “We’re working really closely with Francis Starlite from Francis and the Lights. He’s been a really been a big help on Surf. Damn, I’m saying these things like people know it. Surf is the first project, which is coming out before the end of 2014. It’s the first Social Experiment project. It’s a big step for all of us all putting our heads together and letting Nico [Segal, a.k.a Donnie Trumpet] hold the reigns and carry it. There’s a lot of great instrumentation. A lot of input from cool writers. I’m already saying too much.”
On who else he’s working with: “Well, we worked with Migos. We worked with J. Cole. We did some work with Emily King just last week. Somebody who helped us out a lot with just getting into the project was Rick Rubin. And Frank Ocean. There’s been a lot of just people in the studio watching us work almost like a house band. People come in just to watch us jam out.”
On what else he’s working on: “We have an idea for what we want to do next year following [the release] of Surf and [another project entitled] SOX and everything else that is to come. We’ve been really, really focused on The Lion King musical and stage design and use of props in the theater setting and trying to make a very cool musical-kinda thing. Like musical theater. So we’re working on that. It’s still in the development process. I’m really excited; the band’s really excited.”
Meek Mill dropped “F**k You Mean” to get fans excited for his impending prison release.

After spending more than three months in prison, Meek Mill has released new music. He tweeted from his account for the first time since July with the title of his song, "Fuck You Mean," featuring Lil Boosie.
As of right now, it is unknown when Meek will actually be released from prison, but his new single is a return to the energetic and chaotic musical style of the Philly born rapper. Headlining the song with a grimy verse filled with boasts about his Balmain jeans and a catchy rapid fire chorus, Meek's music can still get the blood boiling. Boosie, who was released from prison earlier this year, also turns in a equally entertaining verse where he brags about the amount of money he spends on clothes every day and the type of women he attracts.
Meek, whose new album Dreams Worth More Than Money was supposed to drop earlier this year, was set to serve three to six months in prison on a parole violation. Hopefully this means that good news is on the horizon for his eventual release. —Justin Davis

Tyga talked about his distaste for Drake, which resulted in subtle shade from the OVO camp.

Earlier this month, Tyga took to Twitter to blast his label situation with Young Money and update his fans on the status of his album, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty. In a recent interview published by Vibe, Tyga detailed his complaints with the label, saying that he doesn't get along with Drake or Nicki Minaj, and that he really doesn't like Drizzy as a person.
I don’t like Drake as a person. He’s just fake to me. I like his music; you know what I’m saying? I think his music is good, but we’re all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda’ like we were forcing relationships together.
The current status of Tyga's album is in the air right now, though he did release his new Kanye West-produced single, “40 Mill,” on iTunes under his Last Kings label following his tweets about Young Money. Tyga also talked about how he felt all of the relationships in Young Money were forced and he did it because of Wayne and not Drake or Nicki.
Following Tyga's comments about Drake being "fake," October's Very Own member and Drake's right hand man Chubbs responded on Instagram with an embarrassing video of Tyga before he joined Young Money. A few members of OVO have also poked fun at the video openly in the comments.
Mixing Tyga's less than star-making appearance on MTV's canceled game show “Bustas," where Tyga boasts about his easy upbringings, with Dennis Green's legendary “They are who we thought they were” speech is a stroke of genius but one has to wonder if Drake will make an official statement on wax or otherwise at some point. Jaden Smith shared a very personal music video dedicated to Kylie Jenner.

Sure, Jaden Smith may be confident enough to g-check the entire rap game right now, but after he recently dropped the song “Blue Ocean,” featuring vocals from his sister Willow, no one would've expected him to quietly drop a series of bangers.
Paired with string-heavy production and a sample of Justin Timberlake's “Blue Ocean Floor,” the track is 2014's sad anthem and thankfully, it finally gets a just-as-sad video. Directed by Moises Arias, the video is essentially a 3-and-a-half minute ode to Kylie Jenner, who “plays” his love interest. There's even a montage of photos from North West's birthday party a.k.a. “Kidchella."
On his Twitter, Jaden explained that he decided to put out the song because it isn't going to make the cut for his new album. But let's be real, he's on his way to becoming something great. —Lauren Nostro

iLOVEMAKONNEN released his Drake-assisted “Tuesday (Remix)” video and got attacked during a performance in NYC.

OVO unleashes iLOVEMAKONNEN's new video for the "Tuesday" remix featuring Drake. In the clip, MAKONNEN and Drizzy link with the rest of the OVO crew in the club (where else?) for a night of fun, as the drinks flow the entire time while they party it up with a number of nice looking ladies that have no issue turning up on a Tuesday. In addition, there are some cuts of MAKONNEN driving along the coast while the mellow, Sonny Digital-produced track plays for the duration.
Following the release of the "Tuesday" video, someone at SOBs attempted to sneak attack iLOVEMAKONNEN while he was on stage performing his latest single. In the footage, the person is seen approaching the stage at the beginning of the clip, when he then reaches out to dap up iLOVEMAKONNEN, who returns the favor, not knowing the guy's real intentions.
The guy was able to bring MAKONNEN down to the ground and get a punch in before security and his crew jumped on him and chased him to the other side of the venue. No word on why the person felt the need to attack the recent OVO-signee, but MAKONNEN played off the situation like a champ and proceeded to turn up. The concert, which was put together by Electric Circus, also featured performances from Rae Sremmurd, Audio Push, and more. —Zach Frydenlund
