As the year winds down, two major rap releases are set to drop before the end of 2014, and they just so happen to come from the Young Money camp. Unfortunately—and sadly almost expectedly—both have been pushed back. Nicki Minaj's third studio album, The Pinkprint, was scheduled to drop on November 24. That date is now December 15.

Similarly, Lil Wayne was supposed to release his album, Tha Carter V, this week. Now? Expect to hear it in December. On the bright side, he plans on sharing two discs worth of material, with the first one coming December 9. So that's a positive, right?

Maybe this is why everyone should stick to celebrating their birthday at Dave & Buster's.

Drake was down in D.C. celebrating his 28th birthday at Stadium Club, one of the DMV's finest strip clubs, or at least that's what Yelp says. Either way, it looks like Drake's night was ruined, according to a TMZ video and some Vines floating around, that show him storming back into the club, dropping a few racks, and pushing a security guard.

TMZ is reporting that some club patrons claim they saw someone punch an OVO member but there's no official word yet. —Lauren Nostro

Jaden Smith showed off his lyrical side on “Jetskis.”

Jaden Smith's latest release, “Jetskis,” is yet another banger, as he leans on some smooth production from AzZi, while once again proving he belongs in the industry spitting a number of lines like, “Talk about the album so much it's kinda like it leaked, damn man, Jaden's a beast, kinda like Grand Theft Auto with the cheats, then again you thought I was weak, wear my heart on a sleeve so I get your daughters in seats."

Earlier this month, Jaden called out the rap game, saying that he has “2-3 albums in stock” and ready to go, and with his recent string of solid releases, it might be time for people to take notice. —Zach Frydenlund

Lil Wayne pushed back the release of Tha Carter V and dropped “Gotti.”

Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V has been pushed back, but Wayne tries to mend the hearts of his disappointed fans with a new song and a P.S.A. on the status of the album. Lil Wayne explains that the album was pushed back for a quality control issue, explaining that he recorded so many songs that he didn't want to cheat the fans with half of a product.

In order to give us Tha Carter V in it's most complete form, Wayne has announced that he is releasing the album in two parts with the first part dropping on December 9. It is interesting to note that Wayne has alluded to the possibility of there being two albums from him (the other titled Tha Other Album) this year.

To further prove his point and show that he is serious about this plan, Wayne has released the hard hitting single “Gotti” featuring The LOX. The song is heavily boom-bap influenced, which is right up Jadakiss and Styles P's alley as they start off the song before letting Wayne finish it while guitars wail under the production. Wayne gets nostalgic about on the song, talking candidly about his upbringing before bragging about going platinum before he was even a teenager. With the updated release date for Tha Carter V, Lil Wayne has effectively re-ignited the intrigue behind what is now his biggest project to date. —Justin Davis

Nicki Minaj's long-awaited album, The Pinkprint, has been pushed back to December 15. It was also recently announced that Weezy's highly-anticipated album, Tha Carter V, was pushed back. Nicki's album was originally slated to be released on November 24 behind her already-released singles, “Pills N Potions,” and “Anaconda.”

While fans patiently wait for her third studio album, Nicki shares her new single, “Only,” featuring Wayne, Drake, and Chris Brown. Rapping Nicki is back right off the bat on this release, as she spits “I never fucked Wayne, I never fucked Drake, all my life man fuck sake, If I did I would menage with em and let them eat my ass like a cupcake.” Following Nicki's stellar verse on the song, Breezy lays down an infectious hook before the track transitions to Drizzy and Wayne's standout guest features. Drake expresses his love for thick women during his verse on the track, rapping, “I like my girls BBW, the type that wanna suck you dry then eat some lunch with you.” —Zach Frydenlund

Juvenile rejoined Cash Money Records.

There is no place like home. In an interview with MTV, Juvenile announced that he has officially re-signed with Birdman and Cash Money Records and is working on a new album that is said to be entirely produced by London On Da Track. Juvie seemed very excited about the move in the interview, saying that he signed the papers a few days ago and that he plans on staying with the label until he eventually retires from the game. Birdman also speaks about the signing, explaining the importance of putting the issues of the past behind them and moving on to make new music.

Juvie's first act back with the label? It's rumored that his next single, and first back with the label will feature an appearance from Drake. Juvie is seen rocking a Rich Gang hat in the video, but no word yet on if he will be featured on the upcoming album, which Birdman announced is dropping on November 24. —Zach Frydenlund

Logic's debut album Under Pressure sold over 70,000 copies in its first week.

The first week sales numbers are officially in, and Logic did well with his debut offering, Under Pressure, scoring a top-5 entry on the Billboard 200 chart and moving 73,000 units in total. T.I. was also able to make a strong statement with the first week sales of his album, Paperwork, securing 80,000 units sold, which was good enough for the second spot on the chart.

In non hip-hop album news, Slipknot was able to grab the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200, selling 132,000 copies in the first week, while Neil Diamond's Melody Road came in at No. 3 with 78,000 copies. Looking forward to next week, it looks like the drought of no platinum albums in 2014 will come to a screeching halt, as Taylor Swift is projected to sell between 900,000-1,000,000 copies of her new album, 1989. —Zach Frydenlund

Nas released his first ever J Dilla collaboration, “The Season.”

Mass Appeal held a special Q&A session celebrating the release of El-P and Killer Mike's new RTJ2 album. In quite the surprise however, Nas, who is invested in the Mass Appeal label, made an appearance at the event, to first talk about his appreciation for the music that Run The Jewels are making, and then to debut his new single, “The Season,” which is produced by the late J Dilla.

Nas recently announced that a new single was coming soon and that it would eventually land on his upcoming 12th studio album, which he has yet to announce the title of. The beat, which was originally Dilla's track “Gobstopper” from his Donut album, certainly builds considerable hype for what Nas has on deck for the culture and his fans.

After sharing the preview, Nas released the full version of “The Season." The Queensbridge veteran spits his tried-and-true delivery over Dilla's groovy backdrop, sending a playful shot in the direction of Jay Electronica and Jay Z while also shouting out his brother. “Jay Elec doesn't write, Hov couldn't write it, he vacationing/Jungle the only brother I take shit from.” —Zach Frydenlund
