The Soulection collective and Stussy partnered up to put out a t-shirt and a music compilation. While the shirts have sold out, the music is still available to stream and download. It features contributions from artists such as Sango, Ta-ku, and GoldLink, who drops one of the standout offerings from the project in "Velho (Freestyle)." Over a soothing vocal sample provided by oriJanus, the DMV native drops a stellar verse, switching up his flow repeatedly. "Fuck the bullshit, fuck rap/Fuck nigga, you can't rap/Fuck you, I am rap," he says.
Another highlight on the project is "All You" by British rapper Jay Prince. It's a smooth record brought to life by a precise flow, clever punch lines, and an infectious chorus. But standouts aside, Stussy x Soulection is a cohesive project from start to finish. Check it out below.
