As part of a current press run, G-Unit makes an appearance on Funkmaster Flex's show on Hot 97. Together, 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, and Kidd Kidd dropped freestyle rhymes for over thirteen minutes, tackling several classic instrumentals.

Yayo starts things by pulling no punches, as he talks about loyalty and politics and points out that he never got a beat from Dr. Dre. 50 caps things off with a quick verse himself. But the star of the session was New Orleans' Kidd Kidd, who delivered several verses and proved that he might be the hungriest member in the crew.

Having just dropped The Beauty of Independence EP less than two weeks ago, the Unit has announced their next project, The Beast Is G-Unit, which is slated for an October release.
