They'll be at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn on December 9.

Harlem hip-hop duo Cannibal Ox's only studio album release is the 2001 underground classic The Cold Vein, which was produced entirely by El-P and released on his label, Definitive Jux. They put out a live album in 2005, but never followed up with a proper sophomore LP. Instead, the two group members, Vaste Aire and Vordul Mega, put out solo projects, featuring each other on them but no longer recording or performing as a group.

And now, over a decade since The Cold Vein's release, Cannibal Ox has officially reunited to play a show at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn on December 9. This is good news for underground purists, and who knows, maybe this will lead to some new recordings. Cop tickets for the show here.
