Completely out of the blue, Nicki Minaj has just unveiled a brand new song. The track, titled "The Pinkprint Freestyle" is spun over Young MA's recent hit "Ooouuu."
The new track opens with a shout out from Minaj to her mentor Lil Wayne. "Young Money! Shout out to Lil Wayne for signing a little chick from Queens," she says. Then she says, "Young ma, its the female Jay Z," which could either be taken as play on Young M.A.'s name, or just a big up to herself and her place as the biggest female rapper in the game. Minaj herself actually clarified that she's introducing herself to Young M.A. in her opening line.
After that, Nicki goes into vintage killer mode and drops atom bomb lines like, "I'm dragging these hoes like Harambe did the kid," and "Don't ever talk about Nicki in the past tense / Unless I flop past that ass in a fast Benz." It concludes with what sounds like possibly another song that may be released at a later date.
It's been quite a long time since we've gotten some new music from Nicki, so her fans were understandably shocked and delighted at the surprise Soundcloud drop.
