Justin Bieber returned to Saturday Night Live this week for the first time in seven years. And, thankfully for Beliebers, he didn't disappoint.

The 25-year-old singer served as Saturday's musical guest, performing the newly released "Intentions" single featuring Quavo and "Yummy." Both tracks land on Bieber's much-anticipated Changes album, which is set to hit streaming services on Feb. 14. The project follows 2015's Purpose and will consist of 17 tracks with guest appearances by Travis Scott, Kehlani, Post Malone, Summer Walker, and more.

Bieber's last SNL appearance was in 2013, when pulled double-duty as the host and musical guest. The gig was apparently pretty rocky, as SNL alumni had previously described Bieber as the "worst-behaved" guest.

"He just was in a bad place.... Maybe he's in a better place, but back then... it was rough," comedian Bill Hader said on Watch What Happens Live in 2018. "Everybody's usually on great behavior. Bieber is the only one in my experience ... He just seemed, like, exhausted or just at the end of a rope. I mean, he was just so huge."

Saturday's performance may have redeemed the Biebs.
