A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie's week has already been pretty great, and now it gets even bigger with his release of the video for "Friend Zone." In the clip, he takes his girl cruising around New York, taking in the videos and lighting up while singing about the finessing his way through the friend zone. She tried to put me in the friend zone, but she wanted some/Fuck it, I'll be in that friend zone cause I fuck with her/After fuckin' her," he sings on the track. Later, he shows off just how little he has to worry about the traditional friend zone woes when the pair get down and dirty.
A Boogie got a major cosign from Drake over the weekend after the Toronto rapper brought him out to perform during his "Summer Sixteen" tour stop at Madison Square Garden. A Boogie actually performed "Friend Zone" for the crowd during his appearance at the show. Now, with the video out, the song is having just as big of a week has he is. The song originally appeared on his Artist: The Mixtape project which dropped five months ago and is proving to be a sleeper hit.
