Dawn has been performing her entire life. Before she ever auditioned for Making the Band back in 2005 or joined Diddy-Dirty Money years later, the singer-songwriter was putting her artistry on display for those around her.
A native of New Orleans—the hottest of hotbeds for jazz—Dawn has music coursing through her veins, and her hometown's vibrant music culture is alive and well in her spirit. Whether she's performing in front of a packed house, driving home alone on a desolate NOLA road, or dancing to the groovy rhythms of a Louisiana marching band, the music never leaves her.
