Given their frequent creepy overtones, there's no better day than Halloween for Crystal Castles to drop new music. Surprisingly, however, "Affection" isn't necessarily spooky or even harsh, though one could argue Alice Glass has some haunting vocals on here. And musically, it's a swirling, atmospheric affair.
