Swizz Beatz and Timbaland's Verzuz Instagram Live battle series has produced some legendary match-ups so far, and the latest is yet another New York City-centric entry.

Frequent collaborators Jadakiss and Fabolous went up against each for the latest installment, which kicked off a little bit after 8 p.m. ET on Monday. Jada and Fab utilized some of their most beloved songs for the battle, which follows match-ups that have included Alicia Keys v.s. John Legend and RZA v.s. DJ Premier.

With careers that span over two decades each, the two rappers dug deep and played a diverse array of songs from their respective catalogs. Jada and Fab's battle was followed by an afterparty with DJ Clue and DJ Envy.

If you missed it, you can check out the battle, which was streamed on Instagram Live and Apple Music, below.

You can stream the songs that the two rappers played during their battle below via Tidal.

During the battle, Fabolous opened up about his "So Into You" track and why there's one version with Ashanti and another with Tamia. The Brooklyn rapper cited Ashanti's busy schedule and Tamia having to undergo a throat surgery as why things turned out how they did. "Noooooo, Imma text u and tell u the real story," Ashanti wrote in the battle's comments, according to Revolt TV. Tamia later took to Twitter to refute Fabolous' retelling of what went down, saying that she never had surgery.

25 years. 8 albums. 0 throat surgeries. ❤️🙌🏽 pic.twitter.com/FIYrrkJIyT

Elsewhere during the battle, Jadakiss said that he wrote Diddy's "Victory" verse. The song, which was released back in 1998, featured The Notorious B.I.G. and Busta Rhymes.

So Jadakiss had to let the world now he wrote Diddy's Victory verse. pic.twitter.com/k0bO53tOtc
