Key Glock's new mixtape Son of a Gun has arrived via Paper Route Empire.

The features-free project was produced by PRE beatsmith Bandplay and includes tracks like “Come Thru,” “Money Talk,” and “Rich Blessed N Savage.” Son of a Gun is the follow up to Glock’s latest album, Yellow Tape, which dropped in January.

Glock signed to Young Dolph’s label, Paper Route in 2017; that same year, Glock released his debut mixtape Glock Season under the label. In 2019, Dolph and Glock released the joint album Dum and Dummer, which debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200.

Earlier this year, Dolph announced his impending retirement from rap, telling Complex, “I’m done doing music so I can go kick it with my son.”

While it’s unclear when Dolph will officially retire, PRE means he isn’t abandoning Memphis’ music scene any time soon. In addition to Glock, Dolph's hometown-based label boasts a roster with other local acts, including Jay Fizzle, Big Moochie Grape, and more, with Glock expected to be the “torch-bearer.”
