Drake's new single "Toosie Slide" has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, knocking The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" out of the top spot.

The success of "Toosie Slide" adds to Drake's achievements, who last month earned the distinction of having the most Billboard Hot 100 entries ever at 208. Now, make that 209. Furthermore, it counts as Drake's 101st song to reach the top 40 on the Hot 100 chart. Next in line? Lil Wayne at 82.

It's also Drake's seventh chart-topping song—and third to debut at No. 1, a record for a male artist—as well as his 37th track to reach the Billboard Hot 100 top 10. He's just one behind Madonna to tie the all-time lead.

According to Billboard, the song tallied up 55.5 million U.S. streams in its full debut week.

"When I first made that song, I was only talking about the moonwalk," Drake said during a recent Instagram Live session, referencing Michael Jackson's iconic dance move. "Toosie made a dance to that sh*t, so it's popping now. I didn't know it was going to be a dance song like that, but it is what it is. We're just having fun, getting warmed up. Album's on the way, bout to slap headtop's out."

Drake built up more anticipation for what he's been cooking up over the weekend. "I'm working on the album, I've been working on it for a while now," he told Diddy. "When God does get you to sit down, I remember the last time I had to sit down was when I tore my ACL. And I made a great album out of that. Obviously God has us all inside the house right now sitting down, so the amount of focus I'm able to put into this album is probably way different than it would've been if I had to go through the residency in Vegas and be able to go meet up with Justin in Miami or whatever."

He added: "This is the most excited I've been about an album in a long time."

Complex News' Natasha Martinez recently caught up with Toosie about bringing the dance to life for Drake's hit single. You can watch that video, along with a dance tutorial, below.
