Boy Better Know's Jme has shared the first music video from his Grime MC album. The LP was released in November 2019 as a strictly physical drop, before getting an iTunes digital release in January, and now comes the visuals for "96 Of My Life"—one of the project's standouts.
On the track, Jme reflects on his life growing up in Tottenham, North London, and giving his student loan straight to his mother for rent, before sharing how life has gradually changed. And this is done on a self-produced instrumental, which features elements of his other "96..." titled tracks of the past.
The accompanying visuals capture an array of nostalgic clips from iconic locations around North London, through to the very first pirate radio set Jme touched down on.
Speaking of the past, Jme's old school teacher reached out on Twitter recently with a touching message that, of course, went viral:
