Dua Lipa has shared the title track off her forthcoming studio album, Future Nostalgia.

The English singer said she wrote the single alongside Jeff Bhasker and Clarence Coffee Jr. during an afternoon in Los Angeles. She described “Future Nostalgia” as both “playful and fun,” admitting she and her cowriters weren’t taking themselves too seriously.

“Future Nostalgia” marks the second single off Dua’s much-anticipated sophomore effort, which will include the chart-topping track “Don’t Stop Now.” The 24-year-old artist confirmed Future Nostalgia earlier this month, when she revealed some of its influences as well as the meaning behind its title.

"What I wanted to do with this album was to break out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to make music that felt like it could sit alongside some of my favorite classic pop songs, whilst still feeling fresh and uniquely mine," Dua said in a statement. "I was inspired by so many artists on the new record from Gwen Stefani to Madonna to Moloko to Blondie and Outkast, to name just a few … My sound has naturally matured a bit as I’ve grown up but I wanted to keep the same pop sensibility as I had on the first record … I realized that what I wanted to make was something that felt nostalgic but had something fresh and futuristic about it too."

As we wait for more information about Future Nostalgia, including is release date, you can stream its title track now on Spotify or via YouTube above.

Dua will also support the project with a European tour that begins in April.
