Just two months after unveiling her debut single "Romeo", North-West London singer-songwriter Tamera is already back with follow-up "Don't Phone". Serving up another sultry vocal performance, the smoky instrumentation of the debut has been swapped out for something more electronic yet just as warm. Lyrically, "Don't Phone" continues the themes of impulsive young love laid out on her debut as she decides she has to take a step back from a relationship to let things cool off for a second. Now two-for-two at the end of the year, let's hope we hear a lot more from her in 2020.

"I wrote 'Don't Phone' about a situation I was in with someone where it eventually became almost impossible to communicate at the hands of insecurity and doubt, so I had to take a step back and not talk to them until we got better at speaking. I wrote it with my friend Aston Rudi at the start of the year. I love making music with him, he always manages to tap into my darker side haha. I'm so excited for people to hear this one I think it touches on a lot of emotion that's very relevant right now."
