Early Tuesday morning, reports started to surface claiming Yung Miami's G-Wagon was the target of gunfire.

According to the Instagram page of The Neighborhood Talk, the rapper was leaving Circle House Studios in her hometown of Miami when her vehicle was struck.

"I got the story first because I was standing right there," the caption reads. "Caresha [Yung Miami] new G Wagon was shot at leaving Circle House... YALL need to give her better security! Poor baby was running across the street tryna run b4 police came. Smh wow prayers for her and baby 808's protection."

This was followed by videos that show Yung Miami explaining the ordeal to the responding officers.

According to TMZ, Miami told officers that the shots came from her car and that she was unable to see anything because the lights to the shooter(s) vehicle were turned off. The bullets hit various parts of her car including the G-Wagon's spare tire. The Miami-Dade Police Department is investigating the shooting but currently have no suspects.

As previously reported, Yung Miami and her boyfriend, producer Southside, are expecting their first child together. The fact she's pregnant adds more weight to the already serious situation.

Complex contacted representatives for Yung Miami, but members of her team did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
