Lil Wayne fans aren't happy.

The 36-year-old rapper was scheduled to take the stage Friday night at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida; but just several hours before the concert was set to begin Wayne announced he had to pull out of the gig due to an illness.

"[...] Feeling under the weather," he tweeted. "[...] Promise I'll make it up to you guys!"

He has yet to specify how intends to "make it up."

Immediately after the message was posted, ticket holders took to social media to express their disappointment. Some were seemingly understanding, and wished the rapper a speedy recovery; while others quickly blasted Wayne, and demanded full refunds.

The show was part of Wayne's co-headlining tour with Blink-182, who performed the Friday night concert.

About two weeks into the trek, Wayne told a Virginia crowd he wasn't sure if he would perform for the remaining dates.

"[...] I'm not sure how long I'm gonna be able to do this tour, but make some noise to Blink-182 for including me anyway," he told the audience, before cutting his set short. "This might be my last night, though. Let's go."

Weezy took to Twitter the following day to reassure fans he was not dropping out of the tour.

Wayne and Blink-182 are expected to perform Saturday night at Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood in Atlanta. According to Wayne's most recent tweet, his show is still on.
