Beats by Dr. Dre have just introduced the Powerbeats Pro, their first-ever completely wireless earphones designed specifically for music lovers and athletes on the move. 

The Powerbeats Pro features a vastly increased battery life, advanced functionality, reliable connectivity, exceptional fit via the signature earhook design and the same H1 chip found in Apple's new AirPods which allow for “Hey, Siri” functionality.

Beats says the new model is 23 percent smaller and 17 percent lighter than the Powerbeats 3 to improve the model's comfort, while the sound quality has been fine-tuned with low distortion and great dynamic range across the entire frequency curve.

The Powerbeats Pro's added H1 chip, means you can summon a virtual assistant by saying, "Hey Siri", without touching a button, while the battery life  will now last up to 9 hours on a charge, with the included charging case adding 15 hours more (24 hours total combined between the earbuds and the case). Beats' Fast Fuel feature is back, and you can tap it to get 4.5 hours of listening time with a 15-minute charge or 1.5-hours worth of music in a quick five minutes.

Powerbeats Pro will come in Black, Ivory, Moss and Navy for £219.95 in the UK in May on the Apple online store and retail shops.
