Thursday, Chainz shared a post to his Instagram account saying he appreciated Walka for showing support for his Versace collab. "Thnx for showing luv!!!" Chainz wrote in the caption of a video of Walka rocking a pair of his and Versace's Reaction shoes. "You did something a lot of people won't do !!! Keep on dripping splashing saucing all that shit killa."
Thugger later took to the comments to share his thoughts, though he notably didn't mention Walka by name.
"When a n***a have a problem with a n***a from your side u shouldn't ever get in the middle of it dog… real L," Thugger wrote in response to Chainz's comment. "[But] I understand that dubs fuck with each other and don't think about n***as situations. And tend think Hoe shit is cool..some n***as be thinking hoe shit is real shit . . . fuck outta here."
Confusingly, in a separate comment, Thugger later said "and this ain't got nun to do with sauce." See screenshots of both comments below. And yes, I should charge my phone.
Thugger and Walka's issues are well-documented. At one point earlier this month during a heated back-and-forth that also involved YFN Lucci, Young Thug threatened some slaps. "I'mma slap the hell out y'all little n****s, man," he said on Instagram. "Stop playin' with me."
Amidst the revival of his Lucci issues, Thugger has continued his habit of memorable guest verses with recent spots on new albums from Juice WRLD and Nav. Interestingly, he also appeared on Chainz's critically acclaimed Rap or Go to the League last month, contributing vocals to "High Top Versace." As it turns out, a certain shoe is the likely inspiration for that track.
