Blackbear returns with the official video for "1 Sided Love," the latest single off his forthcoming album, Anonymous.
Directed by Malia James, the video chronicles the highs and lows of a relationship that eventually ends in a breakup. You see Blackbear and his significant other living life inside their home—laughing, fighting, and enjoying mundane activities—before the woman decides to pack up her things and throw in the towel.
"She was standing there with her bags. I knew what was happening," Blackbear said about the track and its visual. "I thought, I want to forget how I felt at that moment. This song will never allow that. My guts stretched and transparent."
"1 Sided Love," which debuted on Valentine's Day, is one of 18 tracks that will appear on Anonymous. The album serves as the follow-up to 2017's Cybersex and is expected to drop April 26. Fans can pre-order the project now.
