It's Still 'Sremm 4 Life' for Slim Jxmmi

Rae Sremmurd fans got another break-up scare over the weekend.

The proverbial rumor mill has been trying to push Rae Sremmurd down the same seemingly inevitable path of dissolution as OutKast, blink-182, and others before them since their arrival on the scene. More often than not, these rumors haven't been backed up with very much in the way of hardened advice. Over the weekend, however, fans were met with a bit more than that: some seemingly split-suggesting tweets, straight from the desk of Slim Jxmmi.

Though whoever's running the official Rae Sremmurd accounts promptly hit us with some "Brothers gonna be brothers" messaging, fans weren't immediately convinced. Saturday saw the proliferation of Sremm split headlines before Trippie Redd took over the narrative with some decidedly less-than-kind words for Jxmmi. Now, Jxmmi appears to be setting the record straight once more with a simple message of unity.

"Sremm 4 Life," he wrote when sharing a throwback photo of himself and Swae Lee.

As we move deeper into a year that's set to bring multiple new releases from the Sremmiverse, this is indeed good great news. Last year's triple-disc SR3MM experience is set to receive a sequel shortly. Both Jxmmi and Lee are also expected to be prepping follow-ups to their respective solo projects, Jxmtro and Swaecation.

For now, we can take comfort in the fact that even Slim Jxmmi has to endure a 0.5 gram smoking experience from time to time:
