It's been two years since his last release, VHS POP, and today Calgary-born, Montreal-based HERO breaks his silence with a new EP, entitled Dirty Work. The offering is HERO's first release with Fool’s Gold Records, and is fully written, produced and sung by the artist himself.

Dirty Work follows a storyline of an emotionally self-destructive character slowly building to the realization of perpetual pain. The project continues HERO's exploration of the underbelly of romance through dark electronic sounds.

It seems that HERO is coming out strong in 2019—in addition to the release of Dirty Work, he has also already contributed his debut DJ mix to BBC's Radio 1 as part of the New Year's Day Fool's Gold Takeover.  Listen to Dirty Work below, and follow HERO on InstagramSoundcloud and Spotify for more.
