Prolific production virtuoso Mike Will Made-It, who very wisely does not have a Facebook, has ruined my productivity with a welcomed pair of Rae Sremmurd teases.

Indeed, this holiday season—despite its adherence to the typical holiday vibes of arguing about Mr. Christ and returning shitty gifts—will be punctuated with something new from Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi. In a pair of tweets this week, Mike Will teased fans with the phrase "SREMM CHRISTMAS" before later sharing the date Dec. 21:

SREMM CHRISTMAS.....

For more teasery, Mike Will took to Instagram to share a screenshot and some treemoji:

New music was later confirmed via the official Sremmurd Instagram. Friday, Swae and Slim will be dropping a pair of new holiday-themed tracks:

The new tracks arrive less than a year after the duo's triple album SR3MM. As we learned earlier this month, that three tier approach to the album format was ultimately influential on Migos' decision to drop three consecutive solo projects.

"We originally wanted to do it as one whole album [and] each have our own section… an A-, B- [and] C-side," Quavo toldXXL. The SR3MM presentation on streaming services, however, frustrated the Atlanta trio. "I just wish that Apple [Music] could respect each person. There should be a way they can swipe over or to the side. We just had to do separate ones."
