Anderson .Paak Makes His 'SNL' Debut With "Tints" Alongside Kendrick Lamar, "Who R U"

Anderson .Paak has made many moves this year. To no surprise, the rapper was announced as one of the musicians slated to perform on the late-night series during Steve Carrell's episode in November. The timing was perfect, and calculated, given that .Paak had dropped his third studio album Oxnard on November 16. The album, named after .Paak's hometown in California, has a stacked list of features including Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Pusha-T, J. Cole, and Q-Tip. During his performance, Anderson brought out Kendrick Lamar for his first set, "Tints" and "Who R U," for his second.

.Paak has stated that Oxnard is the album he's dreamed of creating since high school, and it only took Dr. Dre two months to mix the project, which thrilled impatient fans

Tonight's episode was hosted by actress Claire Foy, whose promoting her most recent role in The Girl in the Spider's Web, the sequel to the 2011 thriller The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The film was released on November 9th and has received mixed reviews.
