Once again fans were welcomed into Tierra Whack's wonderful world when the Philadelphia-native stopped by Hot 97 on Wednesday (Nov. 21) to give Funk Flex a dosage of dope bars.
For close to two minutes, Tierra Whack ripped apart Busta Rhymes' 1997 classic track, "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See," channeling the energy of her animated predecessor to attack the beat from all angles with her unorthodox flow. This provided for a short but entertaining video that mirrors all of Whack's content. Similar to her 15-minute Whack World album, metaphors like "I'm winning so yeah I lost 'em" and "I'm Beanie Sigel, Andre meets The Beatles" bound listeners tightly to the freestyle before letting them go right as they start to beg for more.
This lyrical whirlwind only adds to Whack's already extensive list of fiery freestyles that she unleashes via her social media.
But, by showcasing her skill set on Flex's iconic hip-hop platform, Tierra Whack has opened herself up to a new fan base of genre purists that will join her growing following who are eagerly anticipating new music.
