Beginning in April next year, Loyle Carner will be taking his recent, critically-acclaimed Yesterday's Gone album on tour across the UK and Ireland. To ring in the news of the tour, Loyle and his good friend Jordan Rakei are sharing their new single "Ottolenghi". The title comes from famous chef Yotam Ottolenghi (who makes a sneaky cameo), someone who inspired Loyle's own culinary side career (look up Chilli Con Carner).

Rakei provides the silky, soulful vocals on the hook—as well as production—while Loyle weaves his laid back rhymes from the comfort of a mainline train. The track and its video, we're told, take their inspiration from a conversation the young rapper had with a family on a train who wanted to know more about the 'bible' he was reading. That bible, it turns out, was a cookbook written by Ottolenghi himself, bringing the whole thing full circle as they retell the tale in director Oscar Hudson's intimate visuals.
