Kanye West Will Reportedly Visit White House on Thursday

The New York Times reports that he's set to meet Donald Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner at the White House on Thursday.

The MAGA hat Kanye West era is expected to continue through the next few days. The New York Times reports that he's set to meet Donald Trump and his son-in-law/senior adviser Jared Kushner at the White House on Thursday.

The meeting is expected to focus on criminal justice: West is supposedly seeking job opportunities for former convicts, while criminal justice reform has reportedly been Kushner's point of emphasis. Kim Kardashian West has involved herself with the issue, too: She did manage to convince Trump to grant clemency to 63-year-old Alice Marie Johnson, who'd been serving a life sentence for a first-time, non-violent drug offense.

West's White House visit comes after what's been an autumn of lowlights. His appearance at Saturday Night Live's season premiere ended with an off-air pro-Trump rant that was lambasted by cast member Pete Davidson the next episode. Since his gig, he called to abolish the 13th amendment (he meant amend the amendment), tried to get Ebro to link him with Colin Kaepernick, and last weekend, and deleted his Twitter and Instagram, reportedly because "his rants were becoming unhealthy."

Meanwhile, Trump has been celebrating the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh after the judge was accused of sexual misconduct. The president has also been very fond of Ye.

Like many, I don’t watch Saturday Night Live (even though I past hosted it) - no longer funny, no talent or charm. It is just a political ad for the Dems. Word is that Kanye West, who put on a MAGA hat after the show (despite being told “no”), was great. He’s leading the charge!
