Today, London rapper Coops comes through with a New Music Friday delivery in the form of an LP entitled Life In The Flesh. A firmly on-brand project of pensive musings and sharp lyricism over an array of crisp drum breaks—in addition to the 14-track set, Coops also shares visuals for album standout "Guerillas".

Like a soldier on the march, he punches out rhymes over plodding instrumentation and a winding, hypnotic bassline. Last gracing these pages back in February with "That Jazz", it's credit to Coops he's been able to back up his precocious talent with the work-rate his talent has always warranted.

Speaking with Complex about the militant message behind the music, Coops revealed: "We have to be prepared to fight for our freedoms in a world where they are constantly trying to strip them away. We need to stop misdirecting our frustrations and know our true enemy."
