DP Beats may be young—he just turned 23—but he's already a seasoned vet when it comes to producing. The Long Island-born beatmaker started making music at 11, and had his first break way back in 2012 thanks to Soulja Boy turning one of his beats into "Top Back."

Lately, though, fans most likely know DP from his work with Chief Keef and Lil Uzi Vert. But he's stepping out on his own with his upcoming project DPONTHEBEAT Vol. 3. The record will include vocals from Uzi, Rick Ross, Ty Dolla Sign, and Playboi Carti, among others.

Complex is proud to premiere an early taste of what you'll be hearing on that album. "Hit Me Up" features Wiz Khalifa and MadeinTYO, and it's a collaboration the young producer is particularly proud of.

"Whenever me and Wiz get together it’s always epic," DP Beats told Complex. "'Hit Me Up' is definitely a brick of gold from the vaults." You can check the song out for yourself below, and grab it on streaming when it arrives Thursday (Aug. 2).
