Her debut album only dropped in April, but Cardi B is already working on new material. The Bronx native recently shared an Instagram clip of her rapping along to a track aimed squarely at her haters.

"Do you hate my attitude or is just my appearance?/Are you mad I get paid just to make an appearance?/Are you mad your baby dad wanna make me a parent?/I look good in anything, Fashion Nova on clearance,” Cardi raps. She didn't add any other details.

The rapper recently took to Instagram Live to share a few updates about her career after she dropped out of the Bruno Mars 24K Tour, realizing she couldn’t do it so soon after giving birth to her daughter Kulture. "I also thought that I'd be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing. ... I'm not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained its not healthy for her to be on the road," she wrote on Instagram.

In the video, she said she was working on a new project expected to drop in the fall, and has also done a few features with other artists that might drop at any moment. The verse she shared today could come from either of those camps. Slightly unrelated but also exciting for fans, she also teased in the video that the music video to “Ring,” her Invasion of Privacy track featuring Kehlani, will drop sometime in August.

Cardi has recently teased yet another possible collab, this time in the form of a verse on Tyga and Offset’s single “Taste.” The beat on the track Cardi shared today on Instagram is too dissimilar from the one on “Taste,” but who knows?

My baby shleep🤱🏽Should i go to my basement and do a verse for TASTE?
