Lil Yachty Teases Drop of New EP That Will Have 'Real Slaps'

The project should be arriving next month.

Lil Yachty took to social media to tease the drop of a brand new EP.

There was one condition, though. Yachty said he will release the project on his birthday, August 23, if the post gets 50,000 comments. "50 thousand comments by 8/1 and ima do it fr..real slaps... tag a friend," the rapper wrote.

On da real, gone drop a ep for my birthday 8/23, remember dat

Besides a release date, there's isn't much information about the EP.

Yachty's last project was his second studio album Lil Boat 2. The 17-track project, which dropped in March of 2018, boasted features from Lil Pump, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Quavo, Tee Grizzley, Offset, 2 Chainz, Trippie Redd, and others.

Speaking of new music from Yachty, the Georiga-born rapper has been pretty busy this year. He recently linked up with Sheck Wes for the track "N****s Ain't Close." Yachty also connected with Ayo & Teo for the song "AY3." There's also “Who Want the Smoke?” with Cardi B and Offset

Stay tuned as more information about Yachty's upcoming EP rolls in.
