Lil Pump Shares Release Date for 'Harvard Dropout'

Lil Pump took to his Instagram story to reveal that 'Harvard Dropout' will arrive soon: “Harverd Dropout dropping August 17! ESSKEEIT!” he said.

Lil Pump has finally shared a release date for his next project, Harvard Dropout. The Miami native took to his Instagram and Twitter to make the announcement Friday evening. “Harverd Dropout dropping August 17! ESSKEEIT!” he said. Both his Twitter and Instagram included the probably intentional misspelling, Harverd Dropout.

Pump’s new tape has been on the way for months now. The title alludes to a meme frequently referenced by Pump and his fan base claiming that he dropped out of Harvard to save the rap game. Harvard Dropout, to be released via Warner Bros. Records, will be the follow-up to his October 2017 self-titled project Lil Pump.

Over the last couple days, Pump has dropped the new track “Nephew,” which saw him reunite with good friend and frequent collaborator Smokepurpp—and the Pump-featuring Diplo song “Welcome to the Party” received a remix with Famous Dex and Juicy J. Pump has also dropped videos for “Nephew” and “Drug Addicts,” which featured a cameo from Charlie Sheen.
