Ariana Grande Reacts to Justin Bieber's Engagement After Criticism

Ariana Grande responded in a since-deleted tweet to a fan that poked fun at her quick engagement to Pete Davidson and Justin Bieber's fast proposal to Hailey Baldwin.

Ariana Grande responded in a since-deleted tweet to a fan that poked fun at her quick engagement to Pete Davidson and Justin Bieber's fast proposal to Hailey Baldwin.

The fan pointed out that the two pop-stars share a manager, Scooter Braun, and the proximity of their engagements seemed a little suspect. They tweeted, "First Ariana get engaged to Pete Davidson and now Justin Bieber to Hailey Baldwin the devil works hard but Scooter Braun works harder."

In response to the tweet, Grande responded on Twitter and wrote, "You do realize we are human beings who love and have lives… right? And that Scooter is a wonderful human being too who cares first n foremost [about] our health and happiness? Love is lit. Shit happens. I hope to god it happens to you too. U deserve it."

The "No Tears Left to Cry" singer has since deleted her response.

Earlier on Sunday, it was reported that Bieber, 24, proposed to Baldwin, 21, in the Bahamas. The engagement came less than a month after the pair got back together after dating from 2015-2016, according to Us Weekly.

Davidson, 24, and Grande, 25, became engaged just weeks after news spread that they were an item.
