British-Cambodian R&B artist Liza Owen brings her latest effort "Fallin" to Complex UK, with a hazy yet poised grace that soothes the soul and enchants the ear — and that is just the audio. The ethereal beauty of the track is captured in full glory by creative director and stylist Patricia Garate in Topanga, California, and makes for a truly mesmerising piece of visual art.
Speaking about the song, she told Complex via email: "I feel like every female has struggled with emotions of regret when it comes to falling out of a relationship so I wanted to capture that melancholic state in a beautiful way. It was also really important to me that the video represented women finding strength in themselves, and each other, and learning to feel strong and empowered again after a break-up."
