Right now, in the current climate, we're all becoming increasingly aware of the need to open up and talk. Holding things in isn't healthy for anyone, and now  London-based singer-songwriter Byron Biroli is adding his voice to the conversation with new single "Secrets". Against the warm backdrop of the instrumental, Byron Biroli explores quite personal and dark themes, opening up about his experiences with drug addiction.

Speaking openly and honestly about his struggles, the soothing production is almost freeing in a way and puts you at ease despite the subject matter. Byron told Complex that "'Secrets' is a conversation with my partner about my drug addiction—it's about opening up to someone for the first time. The lyrics in the chorus are a direct quote from Tom Waits about sobriety, who described it as feeling like taking a rock out of a garden hose."
